getting back to normal its no surprise that race tracks all around the world are seeing
bigger, better grids than they have done in the past few seasons. Australian V8 Supercars now has
numerous non Australian brands, our very own British Touring Car Championship now has more teams
than ever before, including several manufacture backed ones and the World Rally Championship, with Toyota
set to rejoin in 2017 now has 4 out of the top 5 car manufactures in the world competing in it. It seems then
that NOW is the time to get into motorsport and what better, more affordable way than rallying!
The Wyedean rally, now in its 40th year is an event I have been too a couple of times now. Having been
brought up with rallying when I was younger, watching the WRC on ITV on a Sunday evening its always
nice to go and take in some muddy, wet, usually Welsh rally stage and watch and old Ford Escort or two slide
past, tail wagging and BDA engine roaring shortly followed by a WRC spec Focus RS, not as spectacular looking
with its fancy 4WD but still with a beauty of its own, looking unsettled yet fully in control.
