Of course I am not going to stop pursuing my automotive desires. In fact, I am planning on tinkering around with my own car over the festive break. While my father closes the doors on his garage until the new year, this gives me the perfect opportunity to nick his tools and get to work.
I am a crazy passionate for anything automotive but It was the fascination of how people used a camera to express their creativity, through their own creativity that swayed me. It was a skill I wanted to learn.
With not having many car parts to buy this meant I had some cash to spend on some camera gear and see what the crack is. The closest I came to a camera before my first DSLR was the one in my iphone. As you can probably tell I had a lot to learn. And I am pretty sure you can never stop learning in life so with that in mind I still have a great deal more to get my head around.
Now the reason for this post is because only now, 2 years down the line, of what feels like non stop snapping, I can really say "I can just about take a picture". Only now do I understand the basic's enough to start applying my own creativity.
My photography has come along way, I have had my pictures published in a established magazine, worked for a US blog that have a massive influence on the car scene and not only that but my photography work, that I put up on this very website is now starting to get recognised, I no longer have to search around the web for a picture to share on our facebook/instagram, I just look in one of my own folders and post it up.
So here is some of my favourite pictures from 2013 and I only hope I keep improving throughout 2014.
