In fact the last one was Halloween so we all know how long ago that was.
We try, we really do to keep up with the site, we try to bring you the latest and greatest.
The most up to date info about cars we can possibly find.
We also try to bring you features as much as possible.
We are though very busy.
I myself am still settling into my new house and getting to grips with the
extreme costs of living on your own, as well as having christmas poking its head around the corner.
Sam is also in the same boat, having recently moved in with his other half.
This post though won't have any slammed cars, any track shots or tricks up its sleeve.
I wanted to write a post about the people behind what you have read and will
hopefully continue to read. A post about us.
Photographer, creative and writer of the stance blog.
Sam has always been into cars and is well clued up in not
only making them look good but also run right.
If you have a problem with a car (especially a 106) Sam is the man.
Having built lots of cars before and now daily driving a
Corsa 1.6T SRI that is stupidly low he is a brave soul and dedicated to stance.
Sam is one of those guys that if you have a problem with your car or need
a hand then he is only a text or iMessage if your posh, away!
On top of that, if you spend a day with Sam you will not stop laughing.
Louis is one of those guys who is always up for helping out,
diving in on anyones project and getting his hands dirty.
Recently he has bought a MX5 drift car, so watch out for that
(its bright orange so you wont miss it). Having not drifted before
we will be sure to follow him and bring you pics, vids and write ups on his
progress, as well as sending them in to Harry Hill for our £250 ;)
Louis daily is a 206 as pictured above although more recently
running Schmidt TH Lines and looking rather sexy.
Recently the MK1 has undergone alot of work and both Louis and Sam
have helped out alot, proving that one thing we always say at Definitive.
You can't have great cars without great people.
We sadly don't see much of Tom, he is one of the queens men.
We are proud to have him a part ofDefinitive and when he is around
he makes up for being away. Tom is a photographer on the team,
in fact he was the first one and the one who got me into photography.
When Tom is around you are guaranteed to laugh, witty banter I
believe is the phrase best used, that and the fact he looks a lot like
Joe Mc Eldrey although Tom is probably more famous!
Ive had more cars than I can remember from everyone's favourite first car
a Corsa B, through to my latest MK1 Golf. Ive been into cars since I was born
and alot of people say that but I can say it without laughing. I remember playing with
little toy cars when I was tiny and then as soon as I was able to I would be out
helping my dad work on his cars, I remember buying him some coloured sidelights
when I was in primary school, my first ever car mod!
I founded Definitive because I had been a member of a few car clubs
and to me they didn't seem to work. Im a designer and have an OCD for clean,
functional and classy designs, something car clubs didn't offer. I wanted
somewhere that people could see car's they might otherwise miss,
somewhere owners of car's who might not get the attention they deserve can be adored.
Most of all though we wanted to create a place where a community can come together,
think of us as a virtual pub, the place you come to hear stories and have a laugh.
My current daily is Dink my MK1 Golf, she has undergone alot of changes this winter
with more to come before next season.
So now you know who we are, what we do and why we do it.
We are all about friendships, call it corny but its true
and we are proud. We have a laugh, we have a community and without
the cars we drive or have driven none of this would exist today.
Cars bring people together who wouldn't normally meet.
Louis likes golf, me and Sam on the other hand hate it, but our passion,
our love for cars overrides that.
Thanks for reading and please
keep supporting us.
