Its October, its cold, its the UK and Definitive not wanting to follow the normal decided
a night time shoot of a topless model would be a great idea, halloween style.
We wanted a car that was subtle, classy, stylish and would look great under the spotlight.
Enter Scott's Astra. We have wanted to feature this car for awhile
and have been looking for any excuse to meet up and get snapping.
So with a car, a location, camera's charged and lights prepped off we went,
on our jolly way to shoot our most ambitious feature yet.
Engine wise the car is relativly standard with a de restricted airbox and remap to help get it up to speed.
Speed with a droptop isn't crucial, the other half won't be happy arriving at the cinema looking
like a 80's dancer who has just been spin dried, its all about being seen and enjoying the drive.
The car looks great im sure you will agree, stunning silver combined with subtle exterior mods
make this car a looker. The car is smooth and not just in the slang sense.
The front GSi smoothed bumper mated with the rear smoothed bumper give the car
a very clean euro vibe while maintaining an agressive character, letting you know this is no slouch.
and apart from your usual suspects i.e MX5's or TT's you don't tend to see many.
This makes this Astra something different, something away from the norm and
the modifications done to it really are done to a level that we rarely see on cars.
Scott is into his tech and this car is full of it, some standard and some is just short
of something a certain Mr Bond would find in his Aston or whatever it is he drives now.
A fully fledged computer with WIFI, Bluetooth and an 8" screen in the dash!
I can hear you saying well that is silly and nothing but a gimmick.
But we say to you doubters, can you imagine having all your music,
films and pitcures in your car wherever you are? Would you like to tweet while your driving?
How would you like to be reading this very feature, in your car?
In Scotts car you can and that isn't all. The PC is a sat nav, media centre and o yeah a controller for the car.
Having this meens from Scotts phone he can put the roof up and down, turn the lights on and off
and raise and drop the windows, cool eh?
Lets not forget though that this car also has some neck snapping stance up its sleeve.
The car is slammed on a set of coilovers and straddles some rather lovely
RH ZW2 rims with quite honestly a crazy width for a Vauxhall.
9j front and 9.5j rear and if thats wasn't enough throw in some 20mm spacers. Damn.
It would surely be rude to not show you what that looks like, right?
So here you are.

We want to say a huge thanks to Scott for letting us feature his car and sticking with us.
Being our first night shoot we had a few teething problems and it took longer than usual
but hopefully the pictures and the people who are reading this enjoyment was well worth it.
We want to also thank Tom and Louis for helping us out during the shoot.
Thank you aswell to all the people reading this and please keep supporting Definitive
and helping us grow to allow us to bring you the best cars in the coolest ways.
The seasons festivities have only just started, so keep you eyes peeled for more ;)
